Rebecca joined the firm as a newly qualified solicitor in September 2011 having undertaken her training contract with a large regional commercial firm. In January 2015, Rebecca became a Partner based at our Bude office.
Rebecca is a member of our Property Team, dealing primarily with residential conveyancing matters.
She says: “I chose a career in law because I wanted to help people. We all know that moving house is exciting but it can also be stressful and frustrating. My aim is to minimise the levels of stress and frustration as far as possible.
My background is in litigation which gives me a slightly different perspective when it comes to conveyancing transactions; but I believe this allows me to take a more common sense approach to issues and advise my clients fully in relation to any risks or problems.
As one of the youngest members of the Peter Peter & Wright team, I would like to think I bring a fresh and modern approach to legal matters (championing in particular, the use of “plain English”); and whilst I strive to achieve the knowledge of my more experienced colleagues, my lack of experience is more than compensated by my eagerness to learn in order to assist my clients and achieve their goals.”
