Rebecca Chapman

Partner

Partner specialising in Property

Rebecca specialises in property work and is based in our Bude office.

Rebecca has a wide range of experience in property matters including freehold and leasehold residential sales and purchases; mortgages; deeds of easement; equity release; and land transactions.  Rebecca is also able to assist with some commercial property matters such as high street shop leases.  Rebecca has a background in litigation work which enables her to take a practical approach to any issues which may arise in property matter.

She says: “I chose a career in law because I wanted to help people.  As a property lawyer, it is a pleasure to assist people with buying and selling property and I aim to support my clients through what can be a very stressful (and sometimes very long and difficult!) process by keeping them updated on their transactions and always being someone they can speak with.  I am a firm believer that there is "no such thing as a stupid question" and my clients are always made aware that they can ask me anything, even if they think it's small or trivial.”

Rebecca joined the firm as a newly qualified solicitor in 2011, working in our Litigation and Commercial Property departments.  Rebecca was made a Partner in 2015 and transferred to our Residential Property department in 2016.
