Rebecca Chapman

Partner

Partner specialising in Litigation and Property

Rebecca has experience of working in both the litigation and property departments and continues to undertake work in both areas.

Rebecca has a wide range of experience in litigation matters including boundary disputes, probate disputes, tenancy issues, and debt recovery.  Rebecca’s experience with both commercial and residential property gives her an advantage when dealing with disputes relating to property.

Rebecca aims to find effective solutions to disputes in order to avoid unnecessary and costly court proceedings; often taking a practical approach to disputes in order to achieve her client’s aims.

She says: “I chose a career in law because I wanted to help people.  As a litigator, it's important to acknowledge that even the smallest of disputes can be stressful and in addition to working hard to resolve that dispute, I aim to support my clients through the process and minimise their stress and frustration.”

Career

Rebecca joined the firm as a newly qualified solicitor in 2011, working in our Litigation and Commercial Property departments.  Rebecca was made a Partner in 2015 and transferred to our Residential Property department in 2016.  In 2022, Rebecca returned to our Litigation Department, working alongside Toby Rowland, but continues to undertake property work including residential sales and purchases, land transactions and miscellaneous matters such as Deeds of Easement.
