Mark predominantly deals with agricultural and commercial property transactions on behalf of the firm although also has substantial experience with residential property matters.

He says “Coming from a farming family, I understand the difficulties associated with agricultural property and transactions. I enjoy getting to know my clients and understanding what they want to achieve.”

Career

Mark has been dealing with property transactions since 2012. He qualified first as a Chartered Legal Executive and continued his studies (whilst working full time) qualifying as a solicitor in February 2018.

Mark joined the firm as a solicitor in 2019 and became a Partner in 2021.

Expertise

Mark’s experience includes:

  • Acting for farming clients in farm/land transactions at values ranging from £50,000 (and below) to £5m (and above).
  • Acting for local developer clients in the purchase of development land, assisting with completing any relevant section 106/38/278/104 agreements, drafting the sales paperwork (such as the estate Transfer Deeds or Leases if applicable) and then acting in the eventual plot sales.
  • Commercial property sales or purchases (including tenanted properties and vacant land/properties).
  • Commercial leases and renewals.
  • Farm business tenancies.
  • Sales or purchases of land/property involving SIPPs.
  • Re-finance matters.
  • Complex residential property matters.
