Solicitor specialising in Residential Property and Land

Lydia is a Solicitor in the Property department based in our Okehampton office. Lydia deals with conveyancing for residential properties and land.

Lydia has experience in a variety of property transactions including residential freehold and leasehold, bare land and first registrations.

During her Training Contract, Lydia’s experience in both the Probate and Litigation department has provided her with knowledge which assists in her Conveyancing work.

Lydia aims to ensure matters progress in a timely manner and that her clients are kept well informed throughout the transaction.

She says: “Buying and selling property can be a stressful process and I aim to minimise this as much as I can for my clients by keeping them informed and setting realistic expectations. I became a Solicitor because I enjoyed learning about the Law; this hasn’t changed and every day presents a new challenge which helps to build my knowledge for the next transaction.”

Career

Lydia studied Law with Criminology at the University of the West of England obtaining a First Class Degree in 2020. Following this, Lydia completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, based in Exeter obtaining a Distinction.
