Tony studied Law at Liverpool University in the early 1980s. After graduating he worked in a solicitor’s office where he was encouraged to qualify as a Licensed Conveyancer, which he did in November 1999. Tony joined Peter Peter & Wright in November 2007 working in the Property Team in our Okehampton office.
Tony has enjoyed working as a conveyancer in Devon since leaving Law College in 1984. He has worked in various firms (chiefly in South Devon) and enjoys a good rapport with local Estate Agents.
He says “Moving home is one of the three classic ‘most stressful’ experiences. I like to think that I play a part in reducing the stress levels for clients. Good communication is the key. It is important to remember that what, to me is just a job, is an important part of clients’ lives. I also enjoy building up relationships with Estate Agents. Conveyancers and Estate Agents are part of the same process and the process runs much more smoothly when everyone is working together.”
Outside of work, Tony’s hobbies include photography, sketching and (when time permits) amateur dramatics. Tony is also active in his local church in Teignmouth.
