Scilla is a specialist Family Lawyer with 40 years’ experience. She is based in our Holsworthy Office.
Scilla has wide experience in dealing with divorce and the associated financial aspects of marriage breakdown, as well as claims between unmarried partners on separation and cohabitation and pre-nuptial agreements.
In private Children Law matters, Scilla regularly advises and represents clients in matters relating to child arrangements, including in court proceedings. She has represented parents in cases where serious allegations of abuse have been made.
She says, “Family Law is quite varied, with each case bringing a different set of challenges because each family is different. I always try to give clear and sensible advice, whilst being approachable and sympathetic to my clients. My aim is to resolve disputes fairly, quickly and in a cost effective way wherever possible, giving honest advice and clear guidance through what can be very stressful times for the client.”
Career
Scilla joined Peter Peter & Wright in 1984, initially dealing with all aspects of Civil Litigation. She qualified in 1996 and has specialised in Family Law for many years.
