Rachel Booth
Solicitor specialising in Commercial Property/Real Estate
Rachel specialises in commercial property/real estate, with over 30 years of experience gained in well respected, commercial law firms in Reading and Swindon. Before her move to Devon in 2021, Rachel was a partner of a commercial law firm in Swindon.
Rachel’s experience ranges from acting for large corporate entities, national house builders and landed estates to local companies and individuals. Her ability to act for different clients in relation to a broad range of commercial property matters, suits the work that we deal with at Peter Peter and Wright.
Rachel says “Although my career until recently has been very commercial, it is great to have experience of working in a local high street practice that has such strong links with the community. I deal with a broad range of work, including buying and selling farmland and property, to commercial leases, sales and purchases and everything in between. I enjoy transaction based work and getting deals done in a pragmatic way. I encourage all parties to have meetings and direct conversations where appropriate, to speed things up or to overcome issues. It is amazing what meeting people face to face can achieve.”
Career
Rachel qualified in 1992. She trained in Reading where she obtained excellent experience as a solicitor acting for landed estates and landowners generally, as well as companies, universities, schools, local councils, charities and individuals in a range of transactions. This has allowed her to develop among other things, problem solving skills to ensure that transactions are progressed as efficiently as possible, even if the matters are challenging from a legal or practical perspective.
