Janette Sawyer

Legal Assistant specialising in Probate

Janette has worked in different areas within the firm of Peter Peter & Wright but is currently a Legal Assistant specialising in the Administration of Estates.

Janette is part of our Private Client Team in the Bideford Office dealing with both small and large estates.

Janette says: “I would like to think I’m a sensitive, caring and approachable person which the role requires when dealing with family and friends after someone close to them has passed away. I hope that I am able to take away some of the pressures at this extremely stressful time”.

Career

Janette joined the firm as a school leaver in 1994 and worked as a legal secretary within the Private Client Team at the Holsworthy Office. She was then subsequently promoted to the role of manager at the Nationwide, at a busy Building Society Agency situated within Peter Peter & Wright.

For over ten years Janette assisted customers with their financial affairs. After this she then transferred to the Bideford Office and spent time within the Conveyancing Department before moving back to the Private Client Team where she has been ever since making her a loyal member of the firm.
