Philippa has specialised as a solicitor in Family Law for over 20 years, working for a number of those years locally in Devon and Cornwall.
She heads up our Family Law Department covering all of our four offices in Bude, Holsworthy, Bideford and Okehampton. Philippa provides effective advice in divorce covering all aspects which arise in the breakdown of a marriage, children and financial matters, co-habitation disputes and domestic violence applications.
She is an accredited specialist with Resolution, receiving accreditations for specialising in financial provision (advanced), private law children disputes and domestic abuse. Philippa has also trained as a Mediator and will be undertaking further study to qualify as a Collaborative Lawyer later this year.

Philippa is committed to helping clients through the emotional minefield of separation and divorce with sensitivity and professionalism. Her specialist expertise relates to the financial aspects of a divorce.
She says: “A major relationship breakdown is acknowledged to be one of the most stressful life events. I am here to help my clients through this difficult period – a situation that none of them particularly want to be in – to calmer waters where they are able to move on with their lives”.
Away from the office, Philippa enjoys walking. Recently she walked a 100 km section of the Great Wall of China raising nearly £4,000 for the charity Scope. This year she has climbed Ben Nevis, Snowdon and plans to conquer Scafell Pike before the year is out.
